Virus Hidden in Skype Messages

Apparently Skype users need to beware because there are host viruses going around through the social media video chat site. Messages, either from strangers or actual contacts who have already been infected with the virus, can infect your computer. Essentially, the virus is being transmitted through messages that claim to be talking about your profile picture. There is a small link along with the message which uses the goo.gl url.

So it is vital not to click on messages that may appear suspicious and especially not ones from strangers. If you click on the links that accompany the message your computer is at risk from the Trojan Virus.
